YELLOW DAY CELEBRATION
"Yellow is the colour of happiness, sunshine, and positivity, symbolizing new beginnings and joy."

At National Public School, Singanayakanahalli, hands-on learning is an integral part of the Montessori  curriculum, and Yellow Day, celebrated on 17/01/2025, Friday, was a vibrant example of this approach. Our Montessori students came dressed in cheerful shades of yellow, each bringing along a yellow object or toy to showcase and speak about, boosting their confidence and communication skills.

The day was filled with exciting activities. Children showcased their creativity by crafting sunflowers using paper and paint during the Yellow Art & Craft session. A fun Treasure Hunt had students eagerly searching for hidden yellow objects in the classroom, sharpening their observation and teamwork skills. To wrap up the celebrations, the students enjoyed a refreshing *Lemonade Time activity, where they made and tasted lemonade, adding a delicious and sensory element to the day's learning.

Yellow Day was a delightful celebration that encouraged creativity, hands-on learning, and joyful collaboration among the children, leaving them with lasting memories and meaningful experiences.
