National Public School - Singanayakanahalli

The students of National Public School, Singanayakanahalli, celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.

The celebration began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, setting the tone for a day filled with national pride. The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural programme, a celebration of India's rich cultural heritage through traditional dances performed by students from Grades I-V. Students from Grades VI, VII and VIII presented a series of dances depicting the vital wings of Armed Forces, Voting & Fair Elections is integral part of Democracy, Education is synonym to the growth of the Nation, and role of citizens' in shaping the country's future. Grade IX students brought to life the bravery and sacrifice of Kittur Rani Chennamma through a captivating dance drama, while Grade X students portrayed the legacy of Subhash Chandra Bose.

A student of Grade VIII recited a thought-provoking poem on ‘Democracy.’ The celebration concluded with National Anthem, sung with pride and unity by the students. This celebration was a fitting tribute to India's brave freedom fighters, inspiring students and staff to cherish the spirit of freedom, national pride, and the importance of upholding the values of democracy and citizenship.

The Montessori students celebrated Independence Day in a special way by dressing up as freedom fighters, delivered inspiring speeches, and shared stories of courage and sacrifice. They also participated in creative activities, such as, colouring national symbols, and watching a video of the Prime Minister hoisting the national flag.
