At National Public School, Singanayakanahalli, experiential learning is a cornerstone of our Montessori curriculum. On 24/07/2024, Wednesday, we celebrated Green Day to teach our young learners about the importance of nature and environmental conservation along with the nature’s gift in the form of GREEN VEGETABLES.

Our Montessori students came dressed in green, bringing a vibrant touch to our classrooms. The theme of the day began with a vegetable rhyme and nature walk, where students explored the different vegetables and plants around them. Students also spoke about various green vegetables, sharing interesting facts and benefits of including them in our daily diet.

This was followed by creative activities like making a model of a baby tortoise with clay and printing green palms within the outline of a tree.

The celebration concluded with a pledge to protect and preserve our environment, reinforcing the day's learning outcomes. We believe that, these early lessons in environmental conservation will help shape a greener future.
