On 23.07.24, students of Grade VIII - XII from National Public School, Singanayakanahalli, embarked on a fascinating and enlightening educational trip to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre for an immersive experiential learning experience on DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING.

The school firmly believes that students need such trips to transcend the confines of the classroom and gain practical insights into real-world issues. The engaging trip included a comprehensive demonstration of cutting-edge rain gauges, advanced weather monitoring devices, a captivating slide show presentation on various natural disasters, and effective mitigation strategies.

Through this hands-on and interactive experience, students acquired invaluable knowledge, developed a keen awareness about the importance of disaster preparedness, and inherently learned the significance of being proactive in disaster management, cultivating a deeper understanding and igniting a passion for disaster resilience and sustainability.
